Responsibilities

  • As a welder at DEOL ROAD CARRIER LTD, your responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the successful execution of welding tasks and maintaining the highest standards of quality. Here is a more detailed elaboration on the key responsibilities:
    1. Interpret welding process specifications: You will be responsible for understanding and interpreting welding process specifications accurately. This involves comprehending technical documents and instructions to ensure precise execution.
    2. Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment: You will utilize various welding equipment, ranging from manual to semi-automatic and fully automated machines. Your expertise in operating these tools will be instrumental in performing welding tasks efficiently.
    3. Examine welds and ensure compliance: After completing welding tasks, you will carefully examine the welds to verify that they meet the required quality standards and specifications. This includes assessing the integrity, strength, and overall appearance of the welds.
    4. Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment: In addition to welding, you may also work with flame-cutting equipment. Operating manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting tools will be necessary for cutting operations as per project requirements.
    5. Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines: You will work with a variety of metal shaping equipment such as brakes, shears, and bending machines. Operating these tools with precision will be crucial for shaping, straightening, and bending metal components accurately.
    6. Determine weldability of materials: Assessing the weldability of materials is an important aspect of your role. This involves evaluating the compatibility of different metals and determining the appropriate welding techniques and procedures accordingly.
    7. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment: Your responsibilities may also include operating hoisting and lifting equipment safely and efficiently. This may involve lifting and positioning heavy metal parts or components for welding or assembly.
    8. Operate previously set-up welding machines: You will utilize welding machines that have been set up beforehand to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. This may involve following detailed instructions, adjusting settings, and ensuring precise execution.
    9. Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines: In addition to welding, you may also be involved in brazing or soldering operations. Operating pre-set brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams will be part of your responsibilities.
    10. Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines: DEOL ROAD CARRIER LTD may utilize robotic welding production lines. You will be responsible for starting up, shutting down, adjusting, and monitoring these lines to ensure efficient and accurate welding operations.

Requirements
