The Job Position and Requirements.

Bookkeeper

As a bookkeeper at Silver Arrow Cartage Inc, you will be responsible for various tasks, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining financial records, preparing tax returns, and reconciling accounts.

You will also be required to prepare trial balances of books, post journal entries, and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.

To be considered for this position, you must have a high school graduation certificate, excellent communication skills, and a minimum of 1 to less than seven months of experience in bookkeeping.

Your duties will also include calculating fixed assets and depreciation, establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, and preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks, and you need to be able to work under pressure. Therefore, excellent organizational and time management skills are a must.
